An Eckhart Huser Design

The new Larry series of desking is an updated version of the classic Larry. Finished in luxurious mountain grain walnut veneer it is designed by the Red Dot award winning designer Eckhart Huser and team which includes Joerg Dietz, Alessandro Deserti, Alberto Sala among others. Coming from multi-disciplinary backgrounds the team worked on a brief to create a series of office desking system that combined silent luxury & modern technology without being in-the-face ostentatious. The result was Larry series finished in rich tones of walnut veneer & leather. Needless to say the elegant Larry series personifies our design philosophy of Function, Form, Feel, Flair and Flamboyance…in that order.

Mountain Grain Walnut Veneer & Leather Finish – Finished with manually sawn rift-cut walnut veneer coated with formaldehyde free water based dual varnish to preserve the naturally rich texture and porous grain of the wood and also to minimize the environmental impact. Combined with the walnut veneer desktop is a finely spliced leather topped writing part that provides a perfect foil to the richness of wood.

Fine Detailing & Design Elements – Our objective of a luxurious finish is reflected in minute detailing and design elements that quietly enhance the richness and functionality of the desk. The concealed wireless charger embedded on the desktop is a case in point. The wireless charger is thoughtfully concealed under the leather pad that lets you charge your phone without any visible charging point in site.

Responsible & Environment Friendly Manufacturing. The Larry, like all our other products, is made with E0 grade, fire retardant engineered wood with Sustainable Forest Management Certification. E0 grade is the highest standard for MDF with almost zero formaldehyde emission that is essential for a healthy air quality indoors.

Aesthetically Integrated Slim Wire Management Panels – The tabletop is designed with a horizontal hidden wirebox with power, CAT.6, HDMI & telephone sockets. The wirebox is designed with a wooden cover with the same veneer as the desktop giving it a seamless outer appearance. There is an additional wire management panel on the side cabinet that has cutouts for fixing extra power sockets. The chamfered lid with a groove keeps your devices connected even in a closed position.

Biometric Smart Lock – The Larry desk side cabinet drawer is equipped with easy to set up and use finger print smart lock that provides fool proof privacy and security to your personal documents and files.

Thoughtful Design With Hidden Convenience Features – Various parts of the desk sport thoughtfully designed features. The storage area of the side cabinet is designed with a combination of doors and drawers with socket provision provided in the CPU storage area.
